Those dark vertical stripes down the front of your gutters are not dirt running out of them, they are an electrostatic film that grabs onto the outside face and will not rinse off. Brightening them is a soft wash job on the gutter exterior, and it is usually the single most visible thing on a house after the roof.
Mount Washington sits in Kentucky's Knobs region, where the rolling hills run down into river floodplain, and it has been one of Bullitt County's fastest growing communities since Interstate 65 opened in the 1950s and put Louisville within an easy commute.
