Consumer Reports publishes 1,500 to 3,000 PSI as the range for concrete, and a shingle is nothing like concrete. The same goes for painted wood, old mortar and stucco, which lift or erode under force. Those surfaces get a soft wash instead: low pressure plus a cleaning solution.
